Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Virginia

Non payment

I sell Pampered Chef and I have a lady that placed an order with me in October that still owes me.

I went ahead and submitted her order with the company so she could get a monthly special, even though she hadn't paid me yet. Her order was delivered to her on November 3rd and she was to put a check in the mail to me on November 5th. I waited a few weeks and no check. I called and left her a message to call me. When she did and I asked about the check, she said she had mailed it. She said she would check with the bank. She then said someone had tried to cash the check. Now she says someone cashed the check. If so they forged my name and I would think I should have been notified by the bank or someone. She did call and leave me a message that she was sending me a money order when she got paid. She sent me $150 of the just over $500 she owes me. I expected her to send more in 2 weeks because of her message she left but it has been 6 weeks since I received the first money order and I still haven't received anymore. I have left several messages but haven't gotten any response.

What can I do to get my money? I paid for it out of my pocket and I am having financial difficulties because of this.

What are my rights? HELP!

Re: Non payment

This "lady" is a liar; no one cashed her fabricated check which supposedly was on it's way to you through the mail when it was feloniously intercepted and allegedly cashed by a an unknown malefactor.

You can sue this larcenous personality for the balance owed to you on this transaction in small claims court for the cost of a $40 or so fee to file your case.
