Legal Question in Immigration Law in Virginia
Hello, I was wondering about immigration law in the USA. I know a friend, who went to jail for kissing a girl on a cheek for 6 months. He served his time, and on the day that he was supposed to be out the Immigration took him away. Can immigration do that? he have green card and served his time for what he did.

This friend very likely had committed violations of American law
which he failed to inform you of such as crimes involving moral
turpitude which most certainly would not have included
"kissing a girl on a cheek" which would be unlikely to be counted
as a crime anywhere in these United States.
