Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Virginia

I moved into a home and been living there for 5 months paying rent. The person I share the house with is a renter and on the lease and I am not on lease. When I moved in the property management company said it was ok for me to live there without being on lease.

Now the person that is on the lease wants me to move out. Can she force me to move out immediatley without notice or is she required to go through the courts and get an official evicition?

Probably, the latter (based upon what was likely an oral sublease

or agreement between the two of you).
