Re: Secuirty Deposit

Welcome to the problematical world of the collection of judgments. In order to enforce and collect on a court judgment, you must first locate the judgment debtor's assets which may be subject to levy if a bank or other financial institution account or garnishment if wages or salary. You could also record a lien in the amount of the judgment in order to encumber the sale of any real property in which the judgment debtor may hold an ownership interest.

If you cannot locate any such assets, then you may have the debtor summoned to court in order to

conduct debtor interrogatories in order to learn

more regarding assets which the debtor may have and which may be subject to one or more of the collection remedies referenced above. The judgment debtor will be required to answer under oath all relevant questions concerning such assets.
