Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Virginia

I currently have a rental agreement in the state of Virginia that I would like to terminate early. The term on the original lease was 1 year. The lease was extended for an additional 1 year through an addendum. No renewal language was contained in the original lease and no early termination language was contained in the addendum.

In the original lease there is language that indicates that if the agreement is extended 60 days notice will allow the tenant to terminate the agreement early. Is this 60 notice valid if the term is outlined as 1 year in the addendum.

Thank you in advance.

Yes, it should be considered as such(in my opinion).
