executor's attorney at law

my mother has been gone for 2.5 yrs. my sister is the executor of state. the will has not been settled at all. everytime i asked the attorney about anything about it, she will not answer me. can i do anything be make her answer my questions without hiring a attorney?

No, you cannot force the lawyer to answer your questions. However, if the executor is not handling the administration of the estate appropriately, you could petition the probate court to have her replaced and a new person appointed as executor.
