Legal Question in Workers Comp in Virginia

For over a year, my doctor said my severe injuries were work related. Howevr, in the past 10 days, dr. "suddenly" realizes that my injuries are not work related,only after the dr. met with the company lawyer$$$$.My case is in a few days. What can I do?

You have a problem. If the treating doctor now does not back you, then you stand a risk of losing your case. If you have filed the claim and if the statute of limitations is not a problem, you can withdraw the claim until you or your attorney can meet with the doctor to try to change his mind. If you have your day in court at the Commission and "lose", then that could be the end of your claim. One can appeal an adverse decision but no new evidence can be submitted on an appeal. In other words, you don't want to go forward with the hearing if the doctor is currently against you.
