Legal Question in Criminal Law in Washington

License suspension

My question is what do I do if I did not know my license was suspended and I got pulled over? Also what do I do to avoid going to jail for 90 days? Now I am facing a trial in front of a jury, please help!!

You also do not want to have a DWLS 3 on your record if you can help it. Attorney White is correct but you need to have this matter handled by an attorney so you can avoid jail and the expense of a jury trial. Call with any questions. Good Luck!

Get your license now (also proof of insurance). Also, bring documentation of anything positive that you do like a letter from work or school, etc so that the prosecutor can see that you are a good person who made a mistake and quickly took care of it. Give the documents to you lawyer to show the prosecutor and you should be alright.
