Legal Question in Criminal Law in Washington
I'm on my way in to talk to the detective right now who playing who claims she's enough to arrest me. I asked her if it would be a book and release or if I'd be going to jail today and she said that it was just going to be a book and release, my question is do i or should I write a statement without the presence of a lawyer?

It depends. You do not give enough information as to the background and facts of your situation. I do not think you should talk about your case on a public forum either. It is NEVER a good idea to speak with the police or other law enforcement without a lawyer being present. That is especially true where the police are asking you to write a written statement. You SHOULD NOT speak with or meet or give any statements, verbal or written, to law enforcement without a lawyer being present. Good Luck!
I cannot imagine a situation where it is a good idea for you to give a written statement to the police if there is any chance of you being a suspect. Talk to a lawyer.
