Re: alimony

The issues involved in determining whether a spouse will be required to pay alimony and how much and how long (called spousal maintenance in Washington) are how much does one spouse make versus the other, how long have the parties been married, what is the other spouses potential to make a reasonable income, and how long it will take to there.
