Legal Question in Family Law in Washington

I need clarification on this:

The child should spend every even numbered year spring vacation, as defined by the school schedule, with the father from 6:00pm the first sunday after school lets out until 6:00 pm on friday and shall be attached to the every other weekend schedule whether such weekend occurs either before or after such 5 day block of time.

would you say that means he still gets him on his scheduled weekend, or it goes onto the following weekend? He just had him from Sunday at 6pm and I thought he should have returned him Last night, Friday, at 6 pm. But he says since this is his weekend, he still gets him.

It means that the father gets seven days, beginning either on Friday when school gets out (and goes to the next Friday at 6 p.m.) or on Sunday evening at 6 p.m. (and goes to 6 p.m. the next Sunday)--depending on whether his regular weekend is the one adjacent to the last day of school before the break or to the first day back to school after the break.

Your statement of facts is not quite clear; it appears you want to restrict him to 5 consecutive days, but the order requires 7 consecutive days. If he had him beginning Sunday, then I presume that was not his normal weekend and the next one would be.
