Legal Question in Family Law in Washington
A friend of mine lost custody of her son because her x husband coersed his son to lie and say his mother was abusing him. She has spent 7 thousand dollars in attorney fees and got nowhere even though there was no evidence to prove she has abused her son. She is financially drained and now owes back child support that she cannot pay. She is a good person and doesn't deserve this. Is there any firm or attorney or advocate group that can help her as she does not have the funds to pay?

I suggest you try the Northwest Justice Project. If they can't help, then try searching on Yahoo! or Google for your local county bar association and see if they can refer your friend to someone who can help her pro bono (at no charge). Best of luck!
