Legal Question in Family Law in Washington

My ex hired a lawyer when I filed to modify our parenting plan and child support. Now I received two declaration for attorney fees. Can they do that? What does this mean?

It means they are asking for you to pay attorney fees most likely. Presumably they are arguing that you are bringing the lawsuit in bad faith or without reasonable grounds.
