Legal Question in Family Law in Washington

Myself and my husband have moved out of state with my kids due to the military. My ex husband was aware of this happening 6 mo in advance, and I even had him sign a note saying he knew about it, and I had his permission. We have joint custody, but with me having primary due to his being in the military as well. Will this hold up in court should he decide to get vindictive about it, or what else should I do?
