Legal Question in Family Law in Washington

I have been searching online for close to three hours trying to find an answer to this question, and in most places, there are only half answers. This of course, is frustrating.

What do I need to file for an involuntary termination of parental rights? Does there have to be an abandonment claim? Or is there another way to do it?

Unless you are in the attorney general's office as an attorney your barking up the wrong tree. You might be looking for establishing a parenting plan/residential schedule where the ex has no rights, or to get him/her to voluntarily relinquish the rights, but involuntarily taking the rights away is not, as far as I know, possible.
