Legal Question in Immigration Law in Washington

I am working in company X and I got an offer from company Y, SO I have transferred my h1b to the new company Y and it is approved.

Now I am serving my notice period with company X and will be released in 3 weeks but in the sametime I have joined company Y as they were not ready to wait for 3 weeks,so overall I will be getting paid from both companies X and Y for a time period of 3 weeks.

My 1st question -:Is there any problem if I am getting paid from 2 companies for a period of 3 weeks and also will it create any problem in W2 ?

My 2nd question -:My visa has been expired and I have valid extended visa till 2013, so I need to stamp my H1B,so is there any problem during my visa stamping as I am working in 2 companies together for a time period of 3 weeks.

My 3rd question -:In this case where should I go to stamp my visa, in my home country India or in vancouver,Canada?

Please help me with your answer...

Hi,

There is no problem in receiving a salary from multiple employers as you were authorized to be employed by both employers: www.h1b1.com/concurrent.htm

There will be no problem with visa stamping in your home country. You should apply for a visa stamp in the name of Co. Y.

Applying in Canada is more difficult and may result in refusal of visa stamp: http://canada.usembassy.gov/visas/visas/categories-and-requirements/important-notice-for-applicants-seeking-a-first-time-student-f-m-j-or-worker-e3-h-l-visas.html
