Obtaining Entry Level Seperation

I am in the USCG. How would I go about getting a Entry Level Seperation. I am trying to save a marriage from divorce, and I am unable to learn the knowledge required. What will help me attaining it?

Re: Obtaining Entry Level Seperation

You are eligible for an entry level separation only during the first 180 days of your active duty service. But there must be some reason why the Coast Guard wants to separate you, other than for misconduct. You cannot simply request it. You may instead want to inquire about a humanitarian transfer or discharge. But understand that the Coast Guard will not be inclined to separate you simply because you are having problems with your marriage, even if the problem is the fact that you are in the Coast Guard.
