Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Washington

harassment/ no contact order

I have a neighbor who for the second year running has claimed that our mustang stud colt ''raped'' her mares across a 4 line barbwire without getting out or injury to either horse. Last year when she made the claim she insisted on payment from us up front, we refused and it turns out they weren't even pregnant. She now claims the same thing happened again last October and the foal is done anytime. They are just realizing it now. (Irresponsible?)Our stud colt has been pastured 2 pens & 10 acres away.

Today they posted a letter on the front door of our newly purchased home next to their property notifying us that they are revoking our rights to the easements for irrigation access. Furthermore this letter threatens to prosecute us for trespassing & vandalism if we use easement on their property. Even though by posting this on our door they've done both. My wife is a wreck and screens all calls and is worried about our kids living next door to this people. The neighbor asked my child to ask my wife when I didn't give her the info she wanted. She also has no problem sending her daughter over to demand info and hair samples from this horse we no longer own. Do we have a harassment case or no contact order? Any suggestions

Something is wrong with the neighbor. I suggest you contact Adult Protective Services and have them pay a visit to see if your neighbor is suffering from dementia or delusions.

As far as the easements go, you need to talk with a real estate specialist. I highly recommend Mark Anderson of Smith, Alling in Tacoma.

You may also want to obtain a restraining order.

Where do you live?
