Legal Question in Traffic Law in Washington

Help I need my license back.

My driver's license was suspended some years ago for a ticket I was unable to pay. This was for no valid insurance. The situation escaladed as I did not quit driving so I have had multiple suspended tickets and mulitple no insurance tickets. I have not driven for 4 years now and have worked off the criminal fines. But I am too broke to pay off the no insurance tickets. Can I file bankruptcy to take care of them?

Re: Help I need my license back.

I am responding to your inquiry to inform you of a relicensing program that is available through many district and municipal courts. For information about the program, visit www.metrokc.gov/kcdc/relic.htm, King County's website for its program. If your FTAs are outside of King County, contact the court in which you have FTAs to find out whether the program is available.

Consult a bankruptcy attorney for more information on reinstating your privilege to drive through this process.
