Death and benefits
When a person dies. ie, death July 27, received benefit in July is this July pmt to be refunded back? I thought that I have heard that you have to pay back the last pmt in the month of death.

I am going to guess that you are discussing Social Security payments received, and the answer is yes, that months payment would have to be refunded (and it would be recalculated for the death benefit and perhaps a survivor's benefit.
