Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Washington

My Mom passed January 2008 in Washington State. My sister was named executrix, we cleaned out the house and because of the housing market rented it from Dec/Jan 2009 to Dec/Jan 2010. My Mom's will says "share and share alike" I no longer want to rent the house and my sister won't sell it she it holding out for more money until the housing market improves. Will has already gone through probate and I was not notified until she told me afterwards, the house is now in her name only, is this legal? I fought cancer all this year and I want my half of my inheritance. What to do?

Your question is not very specific as to dates and certain other critical issues, but where the personal representative of a decedent's estate breaches her duties, you must take quick steps or the law will no longer allow you to recover for what you may have lost. The law dramatically limits the time period available for seeking recovery from estate representatives.

You need to gather up all of the documents that you can find that are related to your mother's estate and seek legal advice with that paperwork in hand and you need do so immediately.
