Legal Question in Family Law in West Virginia

child custody/divorce

My step-sister lives in WV. She is in an abusive marriage with a drug addict. I live in Ohio and offered for her to bring her child and stay with me while she files for divorce and custody. Is there any reason why she can not leave her state with the child ?

Unless there is a court order preventing her from moving or restricting her travel with the child, then nothing prevents her from leaving the state.
