Legal Question in Intellectual Property in West Virginia

Hello. A little over a year ago, I developed a website. About four months ago, I began developing a phone app to mirror the website. The function of the site and app was to make users aware of their nearby diner options. A few days ago, Google added the same thing to their mobile site. Even using a few of the same icons I have used. I do not have a patent. I would like to file a lawsuit against Google. Please help. Thanks.

As a Franchise Attorney I can only say the following. First, if you are planning to sue Google, I hope you have a multi-million dollar litigation budget. Second, what makes you think you even had a case against them? Even if they didn't develop the same idea independently, you put yours on the internet without any kind of protection - essentially giving it away. Consult with a good intellectual property or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
