Mailings

We have thousands of copies of mailings with a phone number that is no longer ours. If we use these mailings, and the resident who now has this number gets any calls, are we liable? There are 3 numbers on this mailing, 2 of which are still ours.

Hello,

I am not sure of the answer to give. I have not run into a case like this before. If the other person complains, they could come up with some theory to sue you, but would have to prove how they were damaged. How about asking them if it is ok, and if they dont like it, offer them a little money. Just some ideas. Mark J. Mahoney
