Legal Question in Business Law in Wisconsin

my question is about contract freight. i hauled a load of potatoes from a to b for 2.60 a mile and was rejected agreeably nothing to do with me.then hauled to point c only paid 1.00 a mile.is there anything i can do?

As a Franchise Attorney I can say it all depends on the contract (agreement) you have with your customer. Contracts can be written or oral. Try to work it out agreeably, if possible. If this doesn't work, have an attorney send a demand letter. Finally, you can sue them, perhaps in small claims court, depending on the amount involved. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
