Legal Question in Family Law in Wisconsin

Can I appeal a courts ruling regarding children placement? We have 50/50 custody but I want primary placement ...so we are fighting for school districts...My ex lives and works as a police officer in 2 towns in the county our case is in.... along with that the court commisoner lives in the same town as he works in.... and the GALs wife is on the school board and is a guidance conselor in the same town.... I don't think we got a fair ruling because the people who made the ruling are probaly parshal to the city they live in. We have not went to the final hearing but everyone says the judge will go with the GAL....
