Re: Change of Venue

Per WI Stat. 767.201 provides "Civil procedure generally governs. Except as otherwise provided in the statutes, chs. 801 to 847 govern procedure and practice in an action affecting the family."

A case labeled "FA" is NOT private. Cases labeled PA are private (and only initials can be used )until (unless) a judgment of paternity is granted after which full names are to be used.

You need a basis for a change of venue which requires more than just filling out a form and the subject is too broad to be answered here. You should consult an attorney to find out is you have a legal basis for either a mandatory or discretionary a change of venue.
