Legal Question in Family Law in Wisconsin

child support / altering court orders

I pay child support because I don't have legal placement of my son. I pay a ridiculously high dollar amount which causees me to not afford to pay my other bills or live away from my parents. What can I do to help myself??

Re: child support / altering court orders

Child support is statutory in WI, you must pay the amount (%) set by statute of your income.

Without knowing all of the factors, I am unable to tell you much more than that.

I would recommend speaking to an attorney about this.
