Legal Question in Family Law in Wisconsin

Can I get full custody now that my ex girlfriend has joined the army?

Asked in Kenosha, WI - less than a minute my ex girlfriend stop letting me see my son while I'm paying child support she recently decided to army and not let me know till a few weeks ago once already in . She has decided to give her parents custody she signed over her rights but did not inform me which she started was intentional so I could not have my son. I did not sign over my rights and try hard to be in sons life, so do I still have rights now that she is gone? Or can her parents keep my son and continue to not let me see him which I was granted to do by courts.

If you were married she has no right to decide who has custody or placement.

Call their local police and take a copy of order for placement/custody and get the kids with the police. Police will generally take the kids from a non-parent and turn them over to a parent that has court orders. If you like you should call those police first.

It then becomes her problem to get them back. Filing on an active service person is problematic. Let her serve you.
