Is there a statute of limitation that a lawyer must follow when told to draft an order and present to the judge for signature?

The answer to that is no. However, if there is a deadline that the attorney has not observed and prejudice results to the client a disciplinary complaint may be filed. On the other hand if the litigant insists that the attorney file a frivolous motion or lawsuit, the attorney is within his rights to refuse to do so.
