Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Wisconsin

Innocent bystander

My son passed away in January and the cause of death seems to be "accident death due to positional suffocation". I have not received a death cert. however this is what they think. There were two boys with my son and nothing was found in his system that would have killed him. This is a pending investigation case at this point. I would like to know if there are any laws that these two boys broke by not helping my son when he was dying. They knew he was in trouble but did not call for help. He was left on the couch for approx. 12 hours before another friend found him. The two boys sat in his room while he was in trouble and did nothing. Is there anything that can be done to these boys.

Re: Innocent bystander

Sorry to hear about the unfortunate death of

your son. I would need a lot more information

in order to evaluate potential claims against the

companions or anyone else for that matter. Was your

son disabled? Why did he stay on the couch for 12 hours?

Do you feel that the death was anyone else's fault?
