Husband in Mexico

my husband is in mexico do to fileing for his papers to be in the USA. it has been well over two months now and the INS told him they would send me paper work for him to come back home. how long does that take to get to me and is there a way for me to make his time in mexico shorter then what hes there for???

It is difficult to advise you since I do not know exactly what you filed. If you could provide more detail I could get back to you with a more detailed answer. If you are a US citizen and you filed for your husband to get his green card it could take several months for them to process his paperwork. There is very little an attorney can do to speed up the processing time but there is a visa called a K-3 that you may have been eligible for that may be faster.
