No, a suit against yourself would not be successful and would be regarded as frivolous in most cases, since negligence causing injury is only actionable against those whose fault exceeds your own level of fault in WI. For most legal purposes involving liability, ones liability insurance company is indistinguishable from one's self, so your case "against yourself" is not improved by suing your homeowner's insurer. However, other types of insurance such as disability or health insurance coverage might sometimes assist you in recovering some of the expenses arising after a self inflicted accidental injury. My comments in this public web forum are intended only for public educational purposes and are not legal advice specifically for you. Instead, you should retain a lawyer in order to meet your legal needs since I will be taking no action on your case.
