Can a non resident be the executor of a Wisconsin estate ?

A non-resident can be an executor (Personal Representative) of a Wisconsin estate, but the court or probate register/probate registrar may require that such person post a bond. In addition, we usually set them up with an agent who can act locally, in the event something needs to be done quickly. Good luck.
