Legal Question in Criminal Law in Wyoming

Wyoming Indictment

My 2 brothers were both subjects of a secret grand jury indictment for conspiracy to distribute meth.Both are Mexican citizens,1 is currently incarcerated 4 life,with the possibility of deportment.For my other brother is there a statue of limitations on an indictment & will they go to Mexico 4 him?Also there is an ICE warrent what is that & will it expire as well?

I handle a lot of federal drug cases so I am very familiar with this type of case. Once an indictment is issued, state or federal, it's alive for ever. I doubt that anyone will go looking for him in Mexico, but it's possible. As to the ICE warrant, they may clear out warrants on an administrative basis in the future, but that would not happen for many many years. If you are looking to retain counsel, please call me. ICE is the new acronym for the old INS - "La Migra." The ICE warrant will show up on the border at any crossing, and will be there essentially forever, as will the arrest warrant. There is no statute of limitations for a fugitive. It would be highly unusual for an extradition from Mexico, but anything is possible. More likely, they will wait until he again enters the US and serve both warrants on him when/if he comes to the attention of law enforcement or La Migra.
