Dennis W. Montoya has been admitted to practice in all state and federal courts of the State of New Mexico since 1985. He is also admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and the United States District Court for the District of Colorado.

He is a former Staff Attorney for the New Mexico Court of Appeals, Prehearing Division, a former Deputy District Attorney/Senior Trial Prosecutor for the Fourth Judicial District Attorney's Office, a former New Mexico State Public Defender, and a former Staff Attorney/Pro Se Law Clerk for the United States District Court for the District of New Mexico. Mr. Montoya has traveled and worked extensively in Latin America, and is familiar with principles of Latin American Law. He is a fluent Spanish speaker.
