In fact, Richard received an "AV" rating from the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory --- the highest rating available from his peers! Richard Cline graduated from The Ohio State University College of Law in 1981. His practice focuses on all aspects of criminal defense, from simple traffic tickets to death penalty murder. Richard is admitted to the United States Supreme Court, the United States Courts of Appeal for the Sixth and Seventh Circuits, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, as well as to all courts in Ohio. He is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Ohio State Bar Association Criminal Justice Committee, and is the former chairman of the Franklin County Trial Lawyers Criminal Law Committee. A native of Columbus, Ohio, Richard now lives with his wife and children in Powell, Ohio, where he is a former Mayor and has served on the Powell City Council since 1996.
