Robert J. Yarbrough is a patent attorney in Delaware County, Pennsylvania. He is a degreed mechanical engineer and has practiced law for thirty years. He is licensed to practice by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and by the Commonwealths of Pennsylvania and Kentucky. Mr. Yarbrough is a partner in the law firm of Lipton, Weinberger & Husick, which specializes in intellectual property law. In environmental matters, he is counsel to Drinker, Biddle & Reath LLP, a firm of over six hundred lawyers with offices in Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Princeton, Los Angeles and San Francisco. He worked in the Environmental Practice Group of Drinker, Biddle & Reath from 1996 though 1997 and in the Environmental Department of Cohen, Shapiro, Polisher, Shiekman & Cohen, a Philadelphia regional firm, from 1989 through 1995. He enforced environmental laws for the Commonwealth of Kentucky from 1977 through 1988. He is the Chairman of the Delaware County Intellectual Property Forum (1998 to present) and past Chairman of the Delaware County Bar Association Intellectual Property Committee (2002). He is past Legislation Co-Chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association Environmental Law Committee (2000-2001).
