Legal Question in Administrative Law in India

Dear sir/madam

i am a railway employee working in the accounts deptt. and my service record, p/case and leave account etc. has been lost from office and after getting the information from the accounts officer, i have submitted several appeal for the preparation of the same as per the extant rule applicable after that i received one official letter from office to submit the documents, if any. after that i submitted 30 copies of documents which was available to me but after 4 months later again a letter was given to me for the attestion of the same by the other officer, immediately i appeal again that since the record was under your custody and i am co-operating as per the extant rule of the administration so that administration should not be harassed for further processing and my lost case should be prepared and till date after a lapsed of 24 months there is no further any steps from the administration side.

sir service record, p/case and leave account is kept in the same office i.e.accounts office where i am working. under such circumstances can i take any legal action against my officer in the eye of law since it is the only basis for my service period and further course of life.

please advice me.

Dear Sir / Madam,

Yes, you should initiate suitable action against your immediate supervisor, and the concerned officer who has signed the latter letter asking you to submit attested copies to the Administration Department, because to me, it looks to be a case of undue unnecessary harassment. Also mark a copy of your letter to the Legal Cell for information and necessary action.
