Legal Question in Banking Law in India
We were given payment to a person he gave us cheque dated 24 april 2016 against our payment in return.
But when we deposited the cheque get dishonoured due to insufficient Balance in account.
We met that person ,he told that he will tell us to deposit again or will return in cash to us.
But till date he has not returned our payment.
So pls sugges what can be done in this case.

File case u/s 138 of NIAct, if time to issue notice of dishonor is there.
