Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India

I am working as a sales executive here in Muscat.

I given 1 lakh rupees advance to buy a property on last December, My uncle was the broker of this deal and I didnt see the documents of this property during the time of giving the advance.

We wrote an agreement during that time on a 100rupees revenue stamp paper.

They told me the documents was in bank and only after one month I saw the documents, Then only I realize it property was not in the name of the person which I make agreement with, and also lots family issue with that property.

We cancelled the deal by first week of January, but till they didnt return the advance. I was not there during this time, my wife went for all this proceedings.

Is there any possibility to me to raise a complainant (Police / court )against them to get back my advance amount?

I am working here in Muscat, so possibility for online complaint also ??

You may send a written complaint to the police, if you consider there was any element of cheating or fraud.

Dear Sir / Madam,

Your uncle ought to have verified the title deeds of the property before coaxing you to purchase it. As the famous English maxim goes : "It is always better to check with two people before losing your way once". You should pressurize your Uncle to return back the Rs. 1 lakh back, since your uncle brokered the false deal.
