Dear Sir / Madam,

If your shop is situated in a building with other purchasers, ideally a co-operative society should be formed to control and monitor all the activities of the building and collectively deal with the builder. You should find out how the other shop owners have dealt with the water issue and obtain a water connection for your shop.

1. If the building is residential cum commercial user, Occupation Certificate is issued by the Municipal Corporation as and when the water connection from the main pipeline to the building underground water storage tank is given.

2. If the builder does not heed to your request, you may have to file a writ petition in Court.

Regards,
