Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in India

One of my frnd deceived me, 'theft by deception', he took 3 lakh rupees from me for admission and bluffed me, i warned him to give me my money back, also told him, dnt let this matter go to the police, he inturn acts careless, n says he dont wanna meet me, he doesn't have time, and switch off his phone and make it not reachable, now he's is threatening me that i will be summoned by the police, and file a case against me, if i didn't stop calling n irritating him, plz tell me the remedy for this, how to solve this, what should i do, does he have any right to threaten me for police, plz i am so much in pain, i want a answer with the reason, thank you.

Dear Sir / Madam,

"You can either have a friend, or you can have your money."

If you need your money back, police intervention is the only remedy.
