Legal Question in Criminal Law in India

i m a girl victim of stalking and disfigurement. on 2 feb 2013 my car was vandalised and broken to pieces. i lodged an fir against two ppl who i suspected, one my ex friend, A and the other person, b his friend who would keep a check on me. my ex friend A was sending me lewd messages the night my car was broken. from days that followed, both were continuosly calling me and saying they are innocent. i met my friend on 10, 11 on the grounds of coming to a mutual understanding but on 14, while coming back i was brutally attacked by a person on a bike coming from the opposite end while walking home, near my place. i had never seen the attacker before. he stopped his bike at a distance while i was calling someone on my phone and next thing i know he is next to me and he bites me so hard on the face that i start bleeding. my entire nose had come off and the doctor said its the clear case of disfigurement while the police had only applied simple injury later they changed it to sec325. now that night my friend and my driver took me to hospital as there was no one to do so. my family coming to know this, might disown me. and they both told this to the police who in turn told my parents. now i fear for my safety and have no place to go. the police says they have nothing against both the culprits. what should i do? please help!!

At first be cool and move to a safe place, I think it is better to tell the whole facts to a family member / close relative in your family whom whom you love and trust, if you are so much afraid then leave it.

you may prepare a detailed complaint about the incident in short, with details of the incident time registered number of the bikes etc. and details of your mobile phone and details of the phone number used by culprits (can be effectively used for cyber investigation) and file it before the women"s cell of your disrict, at the same time you may file a copy of the complaint to the Supdt. of Police of your district in person and request him to look into the matter immediately.

Avoid going out of home alone especially after 5pm in the evening, for some time. i hope that your grievances can be solved effectively , if necessary I can help you over phone and email.
