Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pakistan

last year i fell in love with a girl who is an american muslim citizen and she came to pakistan despite her familys wishes her family immediate parents are based in chicago and half maternal family in pakistan we did court marriage and after sometime her parents blessed her and we had a proper nikkah afterwards as soon as she retunred to us to file for my immigration things started going haywire and her relatives incuding her chacha and her unkle who happens to be her fathers brother started threatening me and my family and are pressurizing me under duress to divorce my wife and also pressuring my us wife to divorce me as well i am fearful for my safety as they have openly threted me and and my wife as well about me my wife is currently in us and i have all the legal nikkah nama plus the court marriage docuemnts and affidavit what precautionary measure should i take to ensure my safety and is it legal for my wifes chacha to ask her and condemn her to ask for divorce and also is it legal for him to threat me to give her divorce whereas we are two very regular bride and groom who relish each other and absolutely cannot imagine life without each other and by the way we are well of legal age my wife being 27 yrs and i being 29 years of age

As per law, no one can compel you to divorce against your free will. You can lodge a criminal case against if you have convincing proof.

As far as your wife is concerned, she has right to demand a divorce from you, but againt it is completely up to you to accept her wish or otherwise.
