Legal Question in Family Law in Pakistan
Can arrest warrant be issued in family matters by court? I mean to say that like in maintenance case, if I am not providing maintenance due to being outside the country (interim maintenance ordered by court @ 2000 Rupeees/month), can court issue an arrest warrant for me or not? I heard that normally arrest deos not take place in these cases (family issues). Further at my end, I am outside country and also I dont want to give maintenance because of some serious reasons. I have already paid maintenance for few months but now I stopped since last 2 months

Yes. In certain circumstances, where Husband makes default in payment of maintenance fixed by court, arrest warrants can be issued.
