Legal Question in Family Law in India

I am Christian and my husband is Hindu, I had filed 498 against however while the final procedure wse came to a conclusion that I will give him 2months of time and he will try to change. So we have been speaking and meet one another sometimes. However my answer is still the same. Now he is ready for mutual divorce however I don't trust him at all. My lawyer has suggested that we should file for contested and if he is agreeing to mutual let him appear in court and confess the same and we will convert the contested divorce in mutual. he has also given me the affidavit stating that he will give me mutual divorce without any hassles. Also he has given statement in police station that if I don't reconsider this marriage we will get seperated mutually without harrassing one another.Whats the best solution for this? What measures do I need to take for the divorce?

First, you should start to live separately then file a petition for leaving separately. Solution automatically arise and use the affidavit for taking divorce.
