Legal Question in Family Law in India

Dear sir,
I am in urgent need of an expert advise. I am from gujarat.
My sister had filed an maintenance case against her husband. after 2 and half years the judgement came. An monthly amount of rs. 3000 was finalised for herself and her 12 year old son which is not sufficient for herself and her son and his studies. Her husband is in a government job with onthly salary of Rs. 28000/- and my sister does not earn anything.
She is now filing a revision case for this amount.
I want to ask that
1) Is there any deadline to file this revision from the date of order of maintenace amount sanctioned?
2) What is the amount gnerally sanctioned in this kind of cases ?
3) what are the chances of hike in this sanction amount and how much hike she can get?
please help and advise.
