Unfortunately, the legal position is totally against you. It has been ruled by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India that if a female establish relationship with a married man, knowing his marital status before starting the relationship, she is not entitled to any protection under the law. On the contrary, she is guilty of making an attempt to demolish a matrimonial home who has harmed the legally wedded wife of her so called "lover".

In this situation, you may have two options:

1. You may try fighting. Law keeps developing. You may present full facts of your relationship and claim rights at par with those available to a 'married woman'.

2. Forget about this relationship and start a new life.

Normally, when we talk of relationship by a single woman with a married man, it is a "run run" situation. Except for temporary pleasures, this kind of relationship can hardly clothe the woman with any legal or social status. On the contrary, her social status is lowered, unless she has a totally totally platonic love for her "lover".

For further guidance, you are welcome to write me email giving details facts of your case.

All the best.
