Legal Question in Family Law in India

Hi. I got marriage in April 2015. Nothing happened between us. No relationship. She threatened me for this. every time she asked for money and don't respect me and my family. Their parents are also supports her. on June 12th she left my house with his brother. after that we tried many times to discuss and resolve with them. But there response was not good. Still there is no case filed from both of us. Please suggest what should I do? should I wait for there action in any way either legal or discussion. Or I need to go legal first from my side. I am very much confused and also in fear. What in case I go with section 9 or 12. In case we go with section 12 how will it prove that there is no relationship between us and what in case we go with section 9. Are there any legal steps to be taken care so that we can safe us in future in case they file any legal case like dowry etc. some lawyers suggesting to go with section 9 and some for section 12. Please help and suggest... Thanks in advance...
